Mossy Creek Music presents the Memorial Day Weekend Party right on Cherokee Lake! This event will be an ALL DAY event right on the lake with live music from a variety of musicians local to the area.

The headline for the event is a local award - winning singer - songwriter Aaron Carter! He is a Rockwood, Tennessee native and is an upcoming award - winning singer - songwriter breaking his way into the Nashville music scene. He began his music career in December of 2021 with his first release “Hit Rewind”, which took off with amazing responses from streaming services as well as several radio stations around the world adding the song to their regular rotation. He has since released over 10 singles with placements on some of Spotify’s biggest playlists including New Music Friday Country, Fresh Finds Country, Next From Nashville, and more! Aaron has spent his days over the last 2 years filled with songwriting, networking, and fine - tuning his craft. He has had the opportunity to headline several shows in North Carolina and Tennessee as well as open for several notable upcoming country artists including Brandon Davis, Kasey Tyndall, and Walker Montgomery.

Over the last year, he has nearly doubled his fanbase, and streams and has drawn attraction from fans all over the United States and around the world. The release of his single “This Town” laid the foundation for an aspiring country music writer and artist. “This Town” was written about growing up in the small town of Rockwood, Tennessee, which many country music lovers related to. His music has been compared to some of the country’s biggest stars like Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Hank Williams Jr, and more! Each song written tells a story.
