Memorial Day Weekend at Elmwood Cemetery

Kansas City’s historic Elmwood Cemetery celebrates its 153rd Memorial Day weekend Saturday, May 24th - 26th, 2025. Elmwood, will open at 8:00am throughout the holiday weekend, and remain open until 6:30pm each day.

Elmwood will offer an Open House at the Armour Memorial Chapel each day, from 9:00 to 3:00 throughout the weekend. Volunteers will be on hand 9:00 to 4:00 each day to answer questions and assist with grave location.
