Memorial Day Parade for Veterans

Calling all Veterans!

Join Cindy Lea Panioto, this years' Memorial Day Parade Grand Marshal, as we honor those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom. We understand that not all Veterans may be up to marching. For that reason, we would like to offer Veterans both the opportunity to ride in the parade and to be picked up prior to the parade. 

The Canton Community Center will be open to Veterans for coffee and donuts on parade day, Monday, May 26, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. 

Participants will start to gather at 9:30 a.m. for a parade start time of 10:00 a.m. If you plan to participate in the parade, need a ride or would like to be picked up prior to the event, please email veterans@townofcantonct.org or contact Melissa Denton, Executive Assistant to CAO & First Selectman at (860) 693-7841.
