Memorial Day Concert - Watts Hall

Memorial Day will be here before we know it! We've been rehearsing since January to be ready to share our music with you once again!

Down East Singers presents Antonin Dvořák's monumental Requiem for Memorial Day, Monday, May 26 at 4 PM in Watts Hall, 174 Main St., Thomaston. Conducted by Anthony Antolini, the work will be accompanied by Mozart Mentors Orchestra and soloists Erin Chenard, Jazmin DeRice, David Myers-Wakeman and John David Adams. The Requiem was written for the Birmingham (England) music festival of 1890 and hailed as a triumph at its premier performance.
